The Family Program offers families the prospect of studying and sharing together their faith development.  Materials are provided that have been developed to be used at home and are appropriate for children and adults.  It has theme oriented sessions and ideas for activities and discussion for the whole family.  Additional materials are provided on the Sunday readings and how we can apply them to our daily lives as Catholic Christians.

Those families registered in the Family Program are required to:

·        Attend the Parent Orientation Meeting for the family program on August 26^th

·        Attend the 4 family program gatherings which provide an opportunity to gather as a community to share their faith and a common learning experience (at least one parent and all children in the family must come to the gatherings)

·        Plan 1 of the 4 Family Gatherings which each family helps plan, set-up, implement, and clean-up at least one family gathering (at least one parent attends the scheduled planning meeting)

·        Complete a calendar of dates and time spent on religious education

·        Complete 30 Parent Lesson Summaries that tells what was taught during a lesson

·        Complete 30 Reflection Sheets and/or  Chapter Reviews for Each child (Email chapter review results to res.family.program@gmail.com with 80% or greater to receive credit)

·        Complete 2 on-going social justice service projects (entire family participates in the project). All meetings are Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm. 

FAMILY PROGRAM K-8 DATES

Parent’s Orientation Meeting - Thursday, August 26^th or Thursday, September 16^th 6:30-8:00pm  

(At least one Parent must attend)

Parent Planning Sessions - Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm - October 7^th, December 2^nd, February 10^th, and March 31^th

(At least one Parent must help plan at least one Family Gathering)

Family Gatherings - Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm - October 21^st, December 16^th, February 24^th, and April 14^th  

(Entire Family-at least one Parent and all the participating children- must attend all 4 Family Gatherings)
