ACTS Women's Retreat

ACTS - Women's Retreats


ACTS is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology and Service. Our ACTS retreats help us strengthen our faith, renew ourselves spiritually, build lasting friendships, and serve our parish. The retreat is presented by lay women. All Christian women age 18 or older are invited to attend.

This women’s retreat is unique in that The Church of the Resurrection is the host and sponsoring church with coordination and support provided by St. Louis parish. First consideration for retreatants will be given to current members of the Church of the Resurrection.

The retreat begins Thursday evening, November 30th with check-in between 5:45 - 6:25 pm at Church of the Resurrection, Ellicott City. Transportation will be provided to the Bon Secours Spiritual Center as well as a light meal upon arrival. We return to Church of the Resurrection on Sunday, December 3rd for the noon Mass. A reception follows Mass. Family members and friends are encouraged to attend both Mass and reception.

Deadline for registration is November 15th. Refund Policy — Full refund if cancellation is made on or before November 15th. No refunds can be guaranteed after that date. You will receive a letter 10 to 14 days prior to the retreat detailing the items you will need to bring with you. The cost of the retreat is $350. To register, print and complete the form below. Then, send a deposit of $200 (payable to Church of the Resurrection-ACTS) to Church of the Resurrection –Women’s ACTS Retreat. C/O Marty Bode. 3175 Paulskirk Drive, Ellicott City, MD 21042. The remaining balance is due on or before the Thursday evening check-in on February 16th.
